Dr. Leigh A. Holcomb started her Life Science Career on the Academic Path. She earned a MS in Biology from the University of Southern California, PhD in Medical Sciences with emphasis on Neuroscience and Pharmacology at the University of South Florida and completed Post-doctoral training in Neuropsychiatry at Texas A&M University Health Science Center. Her research focus included Alzheimer’s Disease and Neuropsychiatric disorders such as Schizophrenia, Major Depression and Bipolar Disorder. As an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Texas A&M, Dr. Holcomb developed and managed a productive scientific research program as well as teaching at undergraduate, graduate and medical school levels.

She transitioned to the Pharmaceutical Industry for 10 years and was a Neuroscience Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with Global Pharmaceutical Companies (Cephalon, Teva & Sanofi Genzyme). She supported the launch of 5 novel medications in 4 Neuroscience Therapeutic areas (Sleep, Pain, Addiction, Multiple Sclerosis).

Dr. Holcomb is currently an Executive Recruiter for the Life Science Industry with Connexis Search Group and placed candidates throughout the US with Pharma/Biotech and Medical Device Companis. She is experienced in entrepreneurship and professional development as she is the Founder and Lead Career/Transition Coach of Learn2Learn Cognitive Coaching, LLC. She is certified as an Energy Leadership Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) through Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC).
