About Camille

Camille Mojica Rey is a scientist turned writer. She writes about the business of biopharma for Life Science Leader magazine, personalized medicine for Clinical OMICs magazine, and creating a new kind of healthcare system for UT Austin’s Dell Medical School.  Camille also conducts one-on-one writing coaching sessions and facilitates writing retreats. She has a B.A. in Biology from UT Austin, a PhD in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley, and a certificate in Science Communication from UC Santa Cruz. After nearly 25 years in California, Camille returned to her hometown of Austin in April 2016 with her husband, a biotech scientist, and three children.
